During the year, we have continued to benefit from the free use of rooms for our weekly "networking" meetings in the Hat Factory. We continued running our club competitions/shows at the Hat Factory.

The number of registered and paid-up members has increased from 7 to 9, although, with visitors and students, we often get more than this at meetings. The annual membership fee is £12.50. Students get 100% discount.

A Programme of events and activities was drawn up and meetings were held weekly throughout the year. The main activities included:

• Movie in an Evening meetings with Casablanca Club filming sessions,
• Club Film-shows and Competition evenings,
• Show for BIAFF 2010, Talk / Show for St Albans Moviemakers.
• Amateur Competitions; club, inter-club, regional, national and international,
• Producing scripts for short movies and taking part in them,
• Attending workshops and courses related to digital movie making and managing volunteers
• Filming local events and maintaining a Local Digital Movie Library/Archive,
• Reviewing Camcorders and other movie-making equipment, etc.

This year we entered one team in the IAC Regional Triangle Competition 2010 with documentary "The Story of Dunstable" by Frank McPartland, fictional story " Quiz Night" by Peter Farrow and open category " This is our Time" by Frank McPartland. We got knocked out in the first round. We entered the annual Enfield Shield competition at Enfield with "Virtually Anything" by Paul Clarke, but did not win.

The LMM Library/Archive of digital movies about Luton has grown to about 1000 entries, with over 100 of the new movies being shot in High Definition Video (HDV1080i). These are documented on our website. Copies are available for the public on DVD and we have prepared and shown a movie exhibition called Lutonarium, the first of several as part of our LCST funded "Cultural Olympiad Project".

Scott Bailey has been working on a new 50-minute fantasy film, being made with members of the club and others. Dapo Owalabi has been working on a new film for his church.

We profitably put on a filmshow for BIAFF 2010 in Bedford.

Recently we have experimented with production of Anaglyph 3D movies (requiring cyan-red glasses) and Paul Clarke has developed a special lens for producing them.

We look forward to a busy year and hope to improve all round.
