Filmshow for St Albans Movie Makers
At the United Reformed Church, Homewood Road, St Albans
22 February 2011, 7.30pm

Programme

Luton Movie Makers is a relatively new club with a young(ish) membership and few preconceptions of what a Moviemakers club should be or do. For a small group, we are surprisingly active and productive.

To this end, we will describe some of the lesser known, but central activities of the group - which are quite distinct from SAMMs activities.

Part 1:- The LMM Digital Movie Archive - Paul Clarke
Paul is retired and has time to be Treasurer, webmaster, archivist and competitions organiser as well as being general dogs-body in the running of the club. The Archive utilises his interests in computers, the Internet and Local Community Event filming.

HALF TIME TEA BREAK

Part 2:- Creating Fantasy with a bit of Magix - Scott Bailey
Scott is Chairman of the club and is an experienced film maker with a flair for creating impressive atmospheric action scenes and numerous feature films staring himself (in many guises), friends, family and club members.
