Service will resume on 17th April, as usual. Last Meeting(s) --------------- At the last meeting on 27 Mar 03 we held the usual weekly competition. After the break, with help from David Robinson, we completed our hush-hush entry "She's Mother" for the St Albans MM, April Fools Day competition: A Spoof Advertisement. The outcome was that we did not come in the top three. They are "hot" at St Albans. Must try harder. Weekly Competition Results -------------------------- 27 Mar 03 Winner: Paul Clarke - Leighton Buzzard Steam Train 2nd: Tarsem Pawaar - Diwali at Hindu Centre New Local Videos for Library ---------------------------- More local videos have been produced and will be included in the video Library, listed at http://www.moviemakers.freeuk.com/videolib.htm Copies of videos are available (at a price and not for public showing) on VHS tape. The recent videos include:- 27 Mar 03: She's Mother The videos are also put on the L&D Community Network in VideoCD/MPEG1 format (1.2Mbps) as well as RealVideo (220Kbps). Next Meeting ------------ There will be meetings of the Movie Makers at Sundon Park Community Centre this Thursday 3rd April 02, at 7.30pm. Currently entry is currently free. Directions: Going out from Leagrave, go past Sundon Park Shops and it's next to Sundon Baptist Church on the right. At the next meeting we plan to run the weekly competition and to complete the postponed digital editing of Michael's holiday film. We will view the raw M1 Sound Barriers film for critical comment to help improve the final product.
