Luton Movie Makers Newsletter 22 May 03 In the Newsletter this Week: * Next Meeting * Last Meeting * New Local Videos for Library * Provisional Programme for rest of May 2003 * Future Plans Next Meeting ------------ At this Thursday's (22 May 03) meeting we will:- 1) Run the weekly competition 2) Review Movie Making Equipment for Beginners The meeting will be at our usual venue, Sundon Park Community Centre this Thursday, at 7.30pm. Currently entry is free. Directions: Going out from Leagrave, go past Sundon Park Shops and it's next to Sundon Baptist Church on the right. Use the Church entrance and park on the grass. Last Meeting ------------ At the last meeting we showed Scott Bailey's Horror Thriller Film:- "Fang Tooth" filmed in Luton, Dunstable, Whipsnade and the surrounding area. Didn't Scott and Robert look young and smart! It was filmed several years ago and was great for a scare/laugh. New Local Videos for Library ---------------------------- The following new local videos will be included in the Library: (See http://www.moviemakers.freeuk.com/videolib.htm ) 18 May 03: London Gliding Club Open Day, Dunstable The videos are also put on the L&D Community Network, (see http://www.wlan.freeuk.com ) in VideoCD/MPEG1 format (1.2Mbps) as well as RealVideo (220Kbps). Copies of videos can be made available to members on VHS tape at a price and not for public showing.
