Next Meeting
------------
The next meeting will be on Thursday (23 Oct 03) 
at Sundon Park Community Centre, at 7.30pm. when 
Alan Higgs will give an illustrated talk on "New Media Art" 
     
If we have time, we will be taking some extra footage for 
"The Great Strain Robbery" comedy that Scott Bailey produced.
    
Enfield Challenge Shield 2003 Result
------------------------------------
Wayne and I went to Enfield Video Makers on Tuesday 
to show our short club film "Global Warming". 
Eight other films, all from different clubs, were also shown. 
The Jubilee hall was packed full.
The judge decided that the winner was:-
     "Vietnam Afloat" from Potters Bar Cine & Video Society.
He also 'particularly enjoyed':-
     "At Heaven's Gate" by Hornchurch Cine & Video Club and
     "Kites" by St Albans Movie Makers
We must have come somewhere near last judging by the applause
level but got some useful comments on how to improve our entry.
