As well as our usual: (1) Club meeting This week we have two courses: (2) The careers-oriented "Opportunities in Movie Making" course (week 4) and (3) An Introductory course on iMAC and iMOVIE. All are free. Details are below. (1) The THURSDAY EVENING meeting will be on 15 Jan 04 at the E-Learning Centre at Sundon Park, from 7.00 to 9.00pm, We will select our six films for entry into the IAC NTR Triangle Competition. Current Contenders are:- TEAM A ------ Documentary:- (1) Smooth Velvet the Rose by Wayne (2:26) or (2) Luton Pancake Race (~11:00) or (3) Opening of Dallow Centre (5:00) or (3) Scott's Extract from Battle of Hastings (~10:00) or (4) Paul's M1 Sound Barriers (~10:00) Set Theme:- (1) The Great Strain Robbery (~11:00) Open Section:- (1) Sally Swallow Returns Home (~8:00) or (2) Scott's Extract from Battle of Hastings (~10:00) TEAM B (R20 Studio / Juniors) ----------------------------- Documentary:- (1) Westmill Community (~10:00) Set Theme:- (1) DNA (~10:00) Open Section:- (1) French Breakfast (~3:00) ------------------------------ (2) Our FRIDAY MORNING course "Opportunities in Movie Making" will continue on 16 Jan 04 at the Sundon Park Community Centre from 10.00am to 11.00am (note the shorter time) with Part 4: Animation, with emphasis on animated titling, by Pearl Nuworgah. This is FREE TO ANY INTERESTED PERSON. NEW JOINERS WELCOME. It includes making a documentary for the Centre Trust. (3) On FRIDAY AFTERNOON we are having a course on iMAC and iMOVIE at the E-Learning Centre at 1.30pm to 4.00pm. Let me know if you are coming.
