Luton Movie Makers Newsletter 6 Aug 04 There will be NO meetings this week. I will email again for the following week. At the last meeting we decided to prepare two "Last Resort" films. - Scott will be directing one about a robbery. - Paul will be directing one about a holiday scheme. We still need "documentaries for the triangle. Any offers? To make better use of our meeting resources, from September onwards we will be using:- - the E-Learning Centre for our workshops and - the (enlarged) Community Centre for our talks, filmshows and competitions This is the reverse of the present arrangements. It will make better use of resources at E-Learning for camcorder use, video editing, scripting, music making, etc. and it will avoid the distraction caused by those (unruly people) who use computers (with sound on) while we are having talks and filmshows. Hopefully, it will also allow us to attract more of the existing Community Centre users to our filmshows. These changes have been included in our revised programme (online) and comments on the changes are welcome. ***** Reminder ***** Our Volunteer Scheme, part-funded by Luton Borough Council this year, is in full swing. It will fund YOU to make "Heritage Videos" about Luton for our library.
