Our "Town and Gown Shorts" showings has been provisionally booked
at the Hat Factory on Friday 14th January 2005 at 7.30pm
Any member who wants to show their movie shorts, please let us know.
    
Scott Bailey's "Warriors of Hastings" has been booked to show in 
the Luton Library Theatre on Friday 28 January 2005 at 7.45pm.
Tickets are now available at £4 with concessions £2.
Club members and IAC members can buy at concession rate direct from 
the club. Other concessions are OAPs and Students (with NUS card).
Tickets can also be purchased from the Library Theatre Booking Office.
        
Reminder: This week we have:-
Mon 29 Nov 04 "Creative Writing" Course (for Script-writing), 
              Farley Centre, 9.30am-12.30pm
   
Wed 01 Dec 04 The Meeting at the Community Centre has been 
              CANCELLED for a Ladies Knicker Party.

Request for help RE: BBC documentary about Luton.

We are currently researching this documentary and are interested to 
find out if any members of Luton Moviemakers might have footage of 
Luton that could be used in the film. We are looking for anything that
shows what life in Luton is like, so any general views of the town or 
events would be of interest. We are particularly interested in footage
that would illustrate the changes that have taken place in Luton over 
the last 30 or 40 years. 
This could be in any format, -super 8, 16mm, VHS, Hi 8, miniDV 
-whatever your members may have used.
     
In addition if any of your members are aware of any individuals in the
area who may have been amateur filmmakers and have footage of the town 
we would be very grateful for the information.
     
Any footage that is used in the film will be paid for and the 
filmmaker credited.
