Luton Movie Makers Newsletter 2 Jul 05 hat Factory Following the termination of the evening workshops at E-Learning Centre the committee have sought an alternative venue for a weekly evening meeting. We have come up with the hat Factory and have joined it's "Cultural Network". This gives us a drop-in meeting place during working hours and somewhere to meet on Thursday evenings. There are many other "arts" groups based in the hat Factory with whom to "network", e.g. Movie making, musicians, drama, Kidz 'n' Computers (animation), etc. This arrangement is not without costs. Frank McPartland has graciously offered to pay half of our first year's subscription and that leaves the rest to us. Accordingly, the committee has decided to raise the club subscription by £2.50 to £12.50 per year. Those members who have already paid £10 need only pay the extra £2.50. We will still use the E-Learning Centre for occasional daytime "Workshops" depending on the demand.
